Having scoured the internet looking for a Volkswagen T4 multivan for an age, and having been disappointed by sellers offering the must have van, but in reality "best avoided" we tracked down a 1998 multivan for sale on vwcampersales. The van (now fondly known as "the rooster") looked the part, and from reading the testimonials on Robs site from other satisfied customers we contacted Rob to inquire about the van. safe to say that we weren't the only ones who spotted the multivan so after a flurry of emails and a very in depth phone call with rob on the history and condition of the van we placed a deposit. 3 weeks later the van was ready for picking up (this including a full service and a new timing belt).

Safe to say the van was better than described, and Rob was very helpful and meticulously went over the van with us, explained again the history of the (previous owner had originally bought it from Rob). 12 months later, "the rooster" has been a pleasure to own, aside from new alloys and lowering the suspension he's as he left the factory.I drive the rooster daily to work 20 miles round trip and on the weekends its THE family car. We've taken rooster to no less that 4 festivals, weekend trips along the welsh coast, a tour of Devon and Dorset (Cornwall on the cards). Weve also been known driven down to the beach on rainy days to watch the waves and eat fish n chips! Future plan is for a trip to Spain, once we get a roof tent (seems a shame to have a Reimo roof fitted).

I can't imagine parting with the van, but if I ever did it would be for another van, and my first visit would be to Rob. The friendly service and advice Rob provides is second to none and i would (and have) recommend anyone whose looking for a good reliable camper to try Rob first.
