Westfalia Kipling
The latest model from camper van giants Westfalia is the Kipling, named of course, after the author Rudyard Kipling. Built on the Ford Custom Tourneo chassis, this compact 4 berth camper van comes in at just 5.45m long, with a choice of 136HP or 170HP 2.0L EcoBlue engines, and a very efficient automatic transmission. It’s an easy drive coupled with manoeuvrability and everything you need for a very comfortable life on the road.
Comfort and convenience are key, with a double bed in the pop-top roof and key feature of the Kipling, a fixed transverse bed at the rear with side extension panels giving you the extra space you never knew you needed. The slatted base slides out or can be removed to give storage for bikes and surfboards. The side kitchen has a 2 burner gas hob, a 51-litre compressor fridge, and a large sink, a fixed cassette toilet and a 50L clean water-waste water tank.
Standard Ford equipment includes lumber adjustment for driver and passenger seats, intelligent cruise control, 13” display and a reversing camera. Choose from add ons like a 230cm wide opening roof cover, 200w extra flat solar panel and a premium tailgate tent with awning.
